1ST SPI ADVANCED IMMUNOLOGY COURSE

SPI Advanced Immunology Course provides updated knowledge and discusses current challenges on how the immune system responds to evolving threats, and how it can be modulated in new, immunology-based disease treatments and approaches.

This course will highlight to the immense power of the immune system, how we may control it, and the conditions that arise when it turns against us. We provide lectures on different topis that cover fundamental and clinical immunology, discussing the future of Immunology, and exploring how this field is set to initiate the next revolution in Medicine.

SPI Advanced Immunology Course will explore a myriad of interdisciplinary topics with a special emphasis on principles that carry real-life and/or medical and industrial relevance. The SPI Advanced Immunology Course is expected to train the next generation of Immunologists with impact in the academic, clinical and industrial sectors.

This online course is organized by the SPI, sponsored by Astrazeneca, and designed in collaboration with relevant study groups such as NEDAI – Núcleo Estudos em Doenças Autoimunes, GPAI-Grupo Português de Autoimunidade, GPIO– Grupo Português de Imuno-Oncologia, GPIP-Grupo Português de ImunoDeficiências primárias, SPAIC – Sociedade Portuguesa de Alergologia e Imunologia Clínica, among others, that collectively will provide leading experts and an experienced faculty and course instructors. Invited world-renowned experts are included in the program.
