We are pleased to announce that the XLVI Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Immunology will be held on 20-21 May 2021 in a virtual format.
This year’s scientific program will address the “CURRENT CHALLENGES AND EMERGING TOPICS IN IMMUNOLOGY” and is organized around 4 thematic sessions:
1. Tumor Immunology
2. Infection and Immunity
3. Mucosal immunity
4. Immune development
The XLVI Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Immunology brings together leading academic scientists, researchers, clinicians and postdoctoral fellows and students providing them with the opportunity to report, share and discuss scientific questions. It will encompass the most
recent achievements, innovations, trends, concerns as well as the challenges in the field of Immunology.
We are looking forward to your active participation in this attractive meeting.

After registering, you will receive the instructions to access the SPI 46 venue platform.
Passport to prize
The prize money for this edition is 500€.
The passport comprises all Platinum, Gold and Silver Sponsors in the exhibitors’ space (Venue).
Meet with all stand delegates. Each stand will provide a contact for scheduling a meeting.
Meet with all Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors by the 4th of June.
Inform the Delegate you are a SPI46 attendee.
All confirmed meetings will be reported to the organisation.
The winner will be announced by e-mail to all attendees by the end of June.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
– Abstract guidelines:
- Maximum of 2500 characters that include Title, Authors, Affiliations and Text;
- When needed insert Greek characters using the word banner option: Insert>symbol;
- Abstracts are accepted in word format only.
– Submission deadline 19th of March
– Abstract submission is independent of registration.
– You may propose your abstract for Oral presentation. Between 12-14 abstracts will be selected for oral communication. The remaining abstracts will be assigned for ePoster.
– The 6 best ePoster presentations will be selected for Speed communication, on the last day of the meeting.
Selected Oral communications:
Duration: 15’ (10’ for presentation + 5’ questions)
Selected authors will be notified in due time.
ePoster:
Selected authors will be notified in due time.
There will be no poster presentation in this edition.
ePosters will be showcased on the venue platform, where the best will be selected for Speed communication.

1 Student (MSc student, PhD student and Medical Intern). To receive the reduced registration fee, a copy of a student ID or similar document has to be uploaded upon registration.
2 Members from Sociedade Portuguesa de Imunologia are entitled to a special discount in the registration fees. Membership fees must be regularized at the time of registration. Request proof to the SPI secretariat to upload upon registration.

Your registration will be completed after the payment reception.
