Dear friends and colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the XLVIII Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Immunology will be held on 29-31 March 2023, at the Aveiro Congress Center.
The XLVIII Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Immunology will bring together researchers, postdoctoral fellows and students providing them with the opportunity to present and discuss scientific questions and recent findings.
The primary goal of the Portuguese Society for Immunology is to promote and support excellence in research, building dialogue platforms and advance training between physicians, researchers, professors and students working in the different areas of Immunology for the benefit of human health.
We have invited distinguished guests to disseminate the latest scientific advances namely in the fields of Immune Development, Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases, Inflammation, Infection and Immunity, Neuroimmunology and Tumour Immunology for a very prolific meeting.
This meeting will also mark include the Society’s 50th anniversary with a special celebration.
We hope to see you all there to commemorate this remarkable achievement!

– You may propose your abstract for Oral presentation. Only a limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation, the remaining abstracts will be assigned for Poster presentation.
– The 6 best poster presentations will be selected for Speed communication, on the last day of the meeting.

Duration: 15’ (10’ for presentation + 5’ questions)
Selected authors will be notified in due time.
Poster presentations:
Dimensions for posters: 80 cm x 120 cm (portrait)

3 On-site registration is accepted upon payment by cash or proof of payment receipt.
