Dear friends and colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the XLIX Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Immunology will take place in Porto at Fundação Eng. António de Almeida from April 17th to 19th, 2024.
This year’s scientific program will be centred on the topic ONE IMMUNOLOGY – ONE HEALTH and is organised in five thematic sessions: Tumour Immunology, Infection and Immunity, Human Immunology, Mucosal Immunology, and Regulation of Immune Response.
On this edition, the Tumour Immunology session will be organised in collaboration with GPIO – Grupo Português de Immuno-Oncologia and Porto.Comprehensive Cancer Center.
SPI’49 brings together leading researchers, teachers, students, medical experts and the pharmaceutical industry, providing the opportunity to report, share and discuss the latest scientific discoveries and emerging challenges in Immunology.
Moreover, we are happy to announce that a Satellite Symposium event integrated into this meeting, the 5th SICR – Symposium on Immunomodulation in Cancer and Regeneration, will be held on the 16th of April.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for networking, learning and sharing ideas.

Only a limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation, the remaining abstracts will be assigned for Poster presentation. – The best poster presentations will be selected for Speed Communication and showcased in alignment with the program schedule.
